  • Description: This course will explore the following questions from a Christian perspective: what does it mean to be truly human? What is there in our shared humanity that binds us together into one, making us sisters and brothers? In what ways does Jesus transform our humanness? We will explore the concepts of creation, sin & grace, suffering, holiness, sexuality, representation, relationship, culture, race and restorative justice.

  • Description: The object of the course is to establish the meaning and use of Jesus’ Parables, based on a format inherited from the Jewish Tradition, and to establish the doctrinal functions of these teachings by investigating the cultural and religious character and aim of the books within which they are contained.

  • Description: An examination of story as articulation of life experience and as interpretation of the meaning of life, its key stages and dimensions. The relationship of one’s personal story to the core stories of the religious tradition, their liturgical expression, theological interpretation, and ethical implications.   • Description: This course provides the student with the opportunity to pursue in depth a particular topic of pastoral interest in church ministry. Thesis will enable the student to review literature in a particular area and to make pastoral applications. The thesis will be a written paper of around 60 pages
