This comparative course explores the ethical systems in three of the world’s major religions, namely Judaism, Christianity and Islam. In the course, students will explore how each religion approaches various public and private ethical issues in a similar fashion.
Instructor: Dr. John Cappucci
Dr. Cappucci is the Stephen A. Jarislowsky Chair in Religion and Conflict at Assumption University. John has taught an array of courses at both the college and university levels. His refereed journal articles have appeared in several internationally-recognized publications, including the Journal of Shi’a Islamic Studies, Fieldwork in Religion, Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs.
